My playing is of a high standard and I can play most styles. I'm available for live and studio work, I'm a competent reader and an inspired player. See the Drummer For Hire page for more details.

I play regularly for various different bands. I play Latin percussion for Latin funk rock covers band Jiboom, drums and/or percussion for jazz artists Bob & Bex and drums in the house band at the Glos Jazz & Blues Jam Sessions. Other artists I play drums for include The Phil Hambling Band, The Breakers, The Otis Mack Band and Neil Webster. From time to time I also play with Jubilate Chamber Choir when they perform a jazz Mass.

Recentlty I have formed a new band called Mundo Pequeno with some very talented friends. We've been rehearsing material for the last few months with Latin American, African and jazz flavours written by our guitarist Rich Michael and singer Bex along with other songs by Brazillian artists such as Airto Moreira and Flora Purim, Joyce etc. The lineup is completed by keyboard player Chads and Peter Čabara on bass.

Recently, Mundo Pequeno had the honour of playing with one of their favourite musicians; Brazillian guitarist José Neto. Jose is the guitarist of choice for one of Mundo's biggest influences, Airto Moreira and Flora Purim. He is also the current guitarist in British rock legend Steve Winwood's band. It was a memorable night for all concerned and an experience the band hope to repeat at some point in the future.

Mundo Pequeno are currently at work in the studio recording a mini album and will be announcing further gigs soon.
