Where are lessons held?
All lessons are currently held in students' homes. I am planning to have a teaching studio at some point in the future but, at the moment, I come to you.

How much is a lessson?
I currently charge £25 per hour or £15 per half hour. This is within a 25 mile radius of Cheltenham. Further away than that and I will have to add a bit on for petrol.

Do I need my own drum kit?
To start with you don't. If you want a trial lesson or two to see if it's for you I am happy to bring a drumkit for you to play. If you wnat to continue after that you'll need your own drums as you'll need something to practise on between lessons. If you want to buy a drum kit I am more than happy to advise.

Do I need to be able to read music?
The simple answer is no. I prefer to teach using printed music but if you wish to learn without it I am happy to teach you that way. If you are prepared to learn to read but have never read music before I can teach you as part of the lessons. Try not to be scared of it, I promise that it really is quite easy.
